Go Fish

Go Fish is a fun game that will amuse and entertain even the youngest card players.

The objective of Go Fish is to collect as many ‘books’ as possible. A book is two cards of the same rank. The player with the most books at the end of the game wins.

Go Fish is a simple and a fun card game where you ask cards from your opponents.
You pick a card from your own and ask the other player who may also have that card rank. If he don't have any, you Go Fish !

The player looks directly at any opponent and says, for example, Give me your kings, usually addressing the opponent and specifying the rank he wants, from ace down to two. The player who is fishing must have at least one card of the rank he asked for in his hand. The player who is addressed must hand over all the cards requested. If he has none, he says, Go fish! and the player who made the request draws the top card of the stock and places it in his hand.

Playing Go Fish can provide hours of constructive entertainment. It is taught to kids as it is a fun way for them to develop their strategy and memory faculties.
