CBeebies Storytime: Read

The CBeebies Storytime app is filled with free interactive storybooks to inspire a love of reading in kids. The children’s stories in the app promote CBeebies’ core values, with themes of inclusivity, sharing, friendship and more. There are two reading modes to choose from, so children can read independently or with a grown-up.

Choose books from CBeebies favourites such as Vegesaurs, Octonauts, Colourblocks, Supertato, Mr Tumble, Bing, JoJo & Gran Gran, Numberblocks, Alphablocks, Hey Duggee and Peter Rabbit as well as stories read by familiar faces in our CBeebies Bedtime Stories collection. Books are free to download, with no in-app purchases.

Each story is brought to life with magical things to touch and play with. These imaginative stories for kids are designed to support early years reading, so you and your child can enjoy reading, playing, and learning.

Children can join Vegesaurs, Octonauts, Colourblocks, Supertato, Mr Tumble, Bing, Alphablocks, Numberblocks, Duggee, Andy, Peter Rabbit and JoJo & Gran Gran as they go on amazing adventures!

READ ANYWHERE:

No Wi-Fi? Downloaded stories can be read offline, so you can read books at home or out and about, there are no limits! You will need an internet connection to access the library to download new stories or return any you have finished.

Sign in with your BBC account and enjoy everything the BBC has to offer. You can also create more than one child profile and your child can enjoy all their downloaded games on multiple devices.

PLEASE NOTE: BBC Account sign in functionality is currently only available to new users of the CBeebies Storytime app. If you have previously downloaded the app or are updating you won’t be asked to sign in at this stage.
