Sueca 的目标是赢得尽可能多的技巧。它有 40 张牌（一副 52 张牌的标准牌，没有 8、9 和 10）。牌的点数从高到低依次为 A、7、K（K）、J（J）、Q（Q）、6、5、4、3、2。牌的值为 A（11 分）、7（10 分，在葡萄牙语中被称为“manilha”）、K（4 分）、J（3 分）、Q（2 分）和其余的牌（0 分）。
