Play escape room quest game in real Darwin museum with a lot of puzzles
You have connected to the virtual laboratory of the Life Code project, the purpose of which is to decipher the genome of all living beings on Earth.
As a result of the project, we will be able to develop new drugs and fuels, slow down the aging process, provide food for the world's population, create new materials and protect biodiversity.
Before the start of the project in 2020, only 0.02% of the genome was decoded.
By 2050, 98% of the genome had already been deciphered, but then the project slowed down due to the inaccessibility of many objects for research.
In 2057, leading scientists called on all of humanity to participate in the collection of missing genome samples, and opened access to the laboratory's resources to everyone.

In the game you will find such animals as: argali (mountain sheep), rhino, armadillo, walrus, angler fish, megatherium (giant sloth), polar bear, sable, Amur tiger, moonfish, tridacna, porcupine, parrot macaw, lion, kangaroo, dinosaurs - tyrannosaurus and velociraptor, ammonite, mammoth, saber-toothed tiger, glyptodont, dunkleosti, foreigners, trilobite. Each animal in the game has a search riddle, mini-game or puzzle.
In this quest, the entire building of the Darwin Museum with an area of over 5,000 square meters is your play space. During the passage of the quest in the display cases you will see such animals as: elephant, giraffe, zebra, mountain goat, eagle, falcon, crocodile, orangutan, leopard, snow leopard, ostrich, hyena, monkey, gorilla, chimpanzee, seal, fur seal, penguin, seagull, albatross, stingray, wolf, fox, brown bear, elk, raccoon, lynx, various ducks, peacock, deer, catfish, killer whale, dolphin, various crabs, alligator, sloth, Galapagos turtle, triceratops, spinosaurus, stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, Diplodocus, Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Iguanodon, Giganotosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Dilophosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Deinonychus, Carnotaurus, Compsognathus, Tarbosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus.

The Darwin Museum was founded in 1907, it is the only museum of evolution in Russia, its
a collection of over 400,000 items, a permanent exhibition of 5,000 sq. m, 1000 sq. m exhibition space, more than 60 exhibitions and 200 events are held annually. More than 600,000 visitors come to the museum a year. But during the pandemic, they lost this opportunity.
This project was implemented to enable people to visit the museum again and to make the museum accessible all over the world.
The project was developed as part of the Microsoft "Artificial Intelligence for Good" program, inspired by the ideas of a participant in the Microsoft charity program "Take Your Professional Experience". She suggested creating interesting quests for children and adults in museums. As a pilot project, this AR-quest was created, which was further supplemented with an online mode.

One of the most difficult tasks was creating the look of the MAX-2057 player assistant. It was first called Charles in honor of Charles Darwin and was created in a retro-futuristic style. But as a result of the elaboration, it became much more futuristic and understandable for the players.
