Palamedes Tavli

Play backgammon variants Tavli, Portes, Plakoto, Fevga against world class AI. Palamedes has won the computer backgammon championship two times (2011, 2015).

Never get bored playing the same game. Palamedes currently supports Greek variants (Portes, Plakoto, Fevga). You can also play the traditional Greek variant Tavli where all three games are played in the same match!

Palamedes AI is based on Artificial Neural Networks trained on millions of self-play games using advanced reinforcement learning techniques. Special AI algorithms are also used for individual matches as well as for Tavli matches.
