Lockdown Cricket
The ultimate cricket strategy game! Test your skills, lead your team to victory!
Overall Gameplay
Lockdown Cricket is a strategy-based game that lets you make real-time decisions and captain your team to glory on the cricket field. The game is usually played with another user, with the outcome of each delivery based on a combination of cricketer statistics and decisions made by each player. Batsman and bowler ratings as well the batting strike rate and bowling economy rate are representative of how good a player is in the game. Remember, all outcomes possible for each ball are based on a combination of the decisions made by the bowling and batting team.
Bowling
Each bowler has a deck of 30 cards out of which 6 are selected for each over. A user will have to pick between the 6 cards and determine the best order to bowl these deliveries for a given over. The better the star rating and economy rate of the bowler, the better the chances of getting more good deliveries and conceding less runs. Good bowlers tend to have more tight deliveries or ‘red’ cards in their deck of 30, while bad bowlers tend to have more loose deliveries or ‘green’ cards in their deck of 30.
Batting
While batting, a user decides whether to attack by rolling two dice or defend by rolling one dice. There are more runs to be scored while attacking but it also means that there is a higher chance of losing a wicket. The higher the star rating and strike rate of the batsman, the better the chances of scoring more runs.
Game Modes
The current version of the game allows you to 'Create a Room' and play with a friend or 'Play Online' and be matched with another user searching for a similar match format.
