Minesweeper Ultra
Play Minesweeper with squares, triangles, hexagons, and random polygons.
In addition to the conventional square cells, play with triangles, hexagons, or even randomly-generated Voronoi polygons.
Take your fate into your own hands: With the "luckless" mode enabled, every game can be solved without guessing.
Tired of pesky mines in the edges of the board? Play without edges: With wrapping turned on, one edge of the game will connect to the opposite edge, like a map of the earth.
Customize the color of the cells, the background, the flags, and more.
Best of all, Minesweeper Ultra features no ads and every feature is free.
How to play Minesweeper: In each game of Minesweeper, randomly-placed mines are hidden in cells. The goal of the game is to clear every empty cell, without ever accidentally clearing any cells that contain a mine. If a cleared cell has any mines next to it, it will show the number of adjacent mines. Two cells are considered adjacent to each other if they share a side or a corner, so a square cell has 8 adjacent cells and a triangular cell has 12 adjacent cells. You can place a flag on a cell that you think contains a mine to help you remember it for later. By looking at the numbers on cleared cells, you can deduce which cells contain mines by the process of elimination and perhaps a bit of lucky guessing.
Controls: Tap the circular toggle mode button in the bottom right of the screen to toggle between clearing cells and placing flags. Tap a cell to clear it or flag it, depending on the mode. If you tap on a cleared cell that has all of its adjacent mines flagged, any remaining adjacent cells will be cleared. You can pinch the screen with two fingers to zoom and swipe to move the viewing window.
