"Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi" is a modern day paper & pencil game for four players.
" Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi " is a modern day paper & pencil game for four players. It is very popular game in North India and other neighboring countries, especially among school going children from 80's to 90's.
It requires minimum four players to play and a score-board keeper to keep the scores which a playing member can also do on a sheet of paper with pencil/pen or may be on a writing board with chalk or a marker as per availability.
There are specific number of rounds to score among "Raja", "Mantri", "Chor" and "Sipahi" to be scored as 100, 80, 00 and 50 respectively on each occurrence per round. While in each round no repetition of the characters is allowed. That means for eg., there can't be two "Sipahi" to score 50 in a round, there will be one "Raja" to score 100, one "Mantri" to score 80, one "Chor" to score a zero and only one "Sipahi" to score a 50 each time in a turn.
Traditionally this game was played with hand written paper chits those were folded to look identical, then shuffled by a player and threw among the players to choose a chit. Keeping in mind the fact of snatching of chits among players that may cause injury also after several use of chits they can be identified as what is written inside and increases the chances of cheating in the game. This application generates a character randomly for each player each time which may or may not be repetitive.
"Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi" can be played for long and as many rounds you want with your friends and family. All the scores earned in each round will be added on the score-board by the score keeper to announce the winner of the game, the one who scores the maximum number of total points after specific number of rounds will be announced as the winner of the game and so on the runner-ups with the lesser scores.
Please Note:- If a same character occurs again in a round, allow the candidate to try until they get the character not occurred by previous player while in a round, so also when three players get a score the last one can automatically get a score of the remaining character from the four. But he gets his turn to start the new round. The turns can be simply scheduled as clock-wise or anti-clockwise while sitting in a group to play "Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi".
